The first Tokyo Runway 2012 was held on March 20th (Tuesday, which was a national holiday), and displayed various S/S collections. 2012 marks the 10-year anniversary--and the 20th show--of the "Kobe Collection". The name of the show was changed to "Kobe Collection in Tokyo" with the aim of establishing Tokyo as a leader of "real clothes", and of introducing the rest of Asia to Japan's famous fashion scene.
Domestic brands such as SLY and rich, etc, shared the runway with international brands, including Roberto Cavalli and DRESSCAMP.
