Although there is the impression that bright and showy colors are preferred for summer, this year there has been a strong focus on the color black. In particular, head-to-toe black outfits have shown a dramatic increase.

Continuing from last year, colors like khaki and pink were being pushed in waves, and the momentum of black was temporarily declining. Indeed, even if you look back at last winter through this spring, there were very few people wearing all-black styles. However, this summer is not choosing a partner, and there are many people returning to the depth of black. Perhaps people who played with color are settling down again, and it is becoming a “rest area”. Incidentally, the “all white” style, which was drawing attention until last year, is also slowing down this year. There is a high support rate of this style from beautiful girls in Ginza and Shibuya, but many of the combinations were with ivory and beige rather than pure white.

Observing the all black coordination of people walking down the streets, the trend is to dress stylishly without relying on big accessories. Due to the effect of showing healthy skin, the “black one piece” worn by many people also gives an impression of not being too heavy. There were many people who were wearing it with Panama hats and basket bags made of straw, which reduced the weight of the black color and adjusted the balance.
