“Heavy Metal”, in origin, is from Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin who gained great popularity in 1970’s.
The word “Heavy Metal” combining of the music and the fashion started to be used, from when Judas Priest had appeared.
However, Heavy Metal was unpopular at one time because of appearance of “Punk”.
In the 1980’s, Heavy Metal had recovered from the doldrums of its popularity, then it had created NMOBHM or L.A. metal boom throughout the world.
In those days, Heavy Metal was separated into two categories.
One was “Black Metal” with feature of putting white makeup and clothes with rough decorations and doing extreme performance. The other was “Thrash Metal” with feature of taking the detail of Hard Core Punk and wearing simple clothes and preferring the up-tempo music.
“Death Metal” was affected according to Black Metal and Thrash Metal and was born in the second half of 1980’s.
Its fashion norm is camo trousers, outdoor boots or sneakers, heavy metal T-shirts. It is a kind of loose-fitting style. And people in its style prefer to put wrist band on their hands.
Its color is mainly black that has effect to look well for the flashy illustrations on their T-shirts.
