Sports brands and brands that deal with exercise and dance outfits are excited about the new rule that makes dance a compulsory subject in all elementary and JR high schools.
While traditional and interpretive dance have been a part of the curriculum, the new change will bring in rock, hip hop, and other street styles.
Naturally the number of dancers will increase, and chances are that the students will continue dancing even when they're out of school and after they graduate, creating a wide age range of dancers.
