The vintage craze seems to have died down with the number of people seen sporting the look decreasing drastically. But while many casual users have given up the trend, hardcore vintage clothing lovers are still going strong.
Vintage clothing lovers usually have a fully coordinated outfit of either American or European origin that is narrowed down to a certain time period and faithful to structure and authenticity. While not immediately apparent at first glance, the historical detail and background to their look--whether it be a British style, work style, etc--may be what gives the fashion style its depth and flavor.
With the rise of fast fashion it seems like fewer people are looking for "bargain" vintage clothing, and instead an atmosphere has been created for each piece to be enjoyed for its individual history and the story it tells. Keep your eyes open and you may come across your very own masterpiece!
