Stepping away from the streets for a bit, let's go over new fashion trends we've seen in 2012 S/S collections.
I'm personally interested in Prada's collection. Inspired by high society, the collection was full of pop prints and colors. Tailored shirts and glossy coats in eye-catching prints were edgy and unique, and their basic suit styles were unarguably hot. With comfortable styles currently trending, it may not be long before we see a return towards high fashion.
The energy of new designers at some of fashion's oldest houses is very promising. Kim Jones, of Louis Vuitton, in particular, has received rave reviews. He works well with artistic director, Marc Jacobs, and we look forward to seeing what they will come up with in the future!
