The biggest Hina Matsuri (Japanese Doll Festival) to date! The 14th Tokyo Girls Collection is here!
"Age boundaries don't exist for girls! The largest Hina Matsuri that all girls can enjoy!" With that as the show's concept, special guest models, age 7 to 64, appeared on the runway at the show.
Here at style-arena.jp we'll again be introducing snapshots of visitors to the show.

It's been two years since the TGC was held at Yokohama Arena. I remember the weather being uncooperative last time around, but this time it was perfect for taking photos! Having said that, it was still terribly cold. ^_^;

Looking at the girls' fashion, we saw a lot of tailored long jackets and trench coats. While the outerwear was simple, the clothes underneath it were usually eye-catching, and wonderfully coordinated.
Many people wore unique socks over their tights, and seemed to be having fun with their footwear as well.
In the color department we saw a lot of sweet-looking "candy colors", which are part of this year's spring/summer color trend--pale tones of pink, yellow, orange, mint green, etc.

The next TGC will probably be held at Saitama Super Arena. ♪ The photoshoot will be during the hottest time of year, but we look forward to getting equally hot fashion shots! （*^_^*）
