Men’s high-heel sneakers?! A new arrival in the world of fashion

The work of the original brand『Shinya Yamaguchi』starts from the hand of Shinya Yamaguchi, from the design of leather accessories to the unique personal models.
The first item,『Long Tall "Sally"』, will go on sale on a made-to-order basis this spring.

"I’m a sneaker otaku. I own hundred of sneakers at home! J I think they most clearly symbolize the reform of men's fashion, and they will be the icon of『TOKYO』fashion. I wanted to give a 'shape' to this icon."

Fashion began to be important to him during high school. Friends who started to discover the world of fashion at first tried to imitate what they saw in the magazines, trying to match themselves to those existing models. "Why is everybody just imitating someone else's style?"
He then built a belief starting from that simple question: to create his personal style.

creative director Tom Ford, and former "Dior Homme" designer Hedi Slimane.
"I’m not totally dissociated from the idea of fashion surrounding me, but I’m just having fun with a natural way to consider fashion: If you want to wear it, just do it!"

Reforming men’s fashion with original and eccentric ideas!

The concept of this original brand is "Adding women’s glamour to men’s fashion".
His concept is to apply the rich variation of colors and items of women’s fashion to the narrow world of men’s fashion.
"If you wear men's high heels, not only will your thinking change and your style become better, but also the possibility of creating new coordinates will be limitless. But no one wants to try this; they are afraid of the risks. Especially big companies. I guess I’m the only one who can do it!"
Mr. Yamaguchi's true goal is to not only expand the variety of shoes, but to give new life to fashion items for men.
