He likes fashion. He likes the apparel industry. He likes spending time alone. Alcohol works as a lubricant to move his daily lives smoothly.
Loose and languid style to aim for his own style
"I prefer the loose and languid style to the tight style" says Ono Ken, a college senior.
He’s got somewhat an easygoing air to him and the loose fashion goes well with him. He accentuates simple style by, for example, wearing somewhat big shirt to add originality.
"A friend from university inspired me to seriously pursue fashion. He dragged me around to select shops in Naka-Meguro and Daikanyama whose clothes cost you fortune and this got me interested in fashion. " says Ono Ken.

From a part-timer to a full-timer, destination is the apparel industry!
At the time, he, however, was just a university student who works hard as a part-timer in prep school and convenience store. He also liked affordable, but fashionable vintage clothes. One day, he found a recruiting poster at the popular vintage shop in Shibuya called "KESHIKI" which he would frequently visit. He worked as a part-timer there for more than two years and decided to become a full-timer at "KESHIKI" after graduation.
He started to think seriously about working in the apparel industry when his snapshots appeared on the magazine" TUNE". Staff at other vintage shops came to know him and people around him reacted to him differently.
His confidence about his fashion grew.
"I want to boost the sales further to the point they put me in charge of the shop and go abroad to import some good stuff. And I want to become more famous in the industry. "

He can relax the most when he drinks alone.
The time he spends alone is the most important thing in his private life.
He listens to slow instrumental music and reads classics such as Hemingway,
Dostoyevsky, Futabatei Shimei, and Naoya Shiga
He also likes to get off train at the stations which he doesn’t usually use and take a stroll without a purpose.
And what's most important in his life is alcohol he drinks everyday!
He makes it a rule to drink at least 1 can of beer after getting home from work.
"Drinking alone quietly really relaxes me." he says. When he drinks with his friends, he talks about old days and the future.
His dream is bringing his ideal clothes to the public by setting up his own select shop or designing his own brand.
"But I usually don’t want to talk about dreams because I fear talking about the dreams alone might satisfy me." He says modestly but ambition inside of him keeps burning.
