Various hobbies liven up her daily life. She has plenty of passion for her fashion and no one else can match her affection towards fashion.
Sweets give her energy to pursue her sparking curiosity.
Kaori Koike has a wide range of hobbies including visiting Café, reading books, hot stone spas, appreciating works of art at photo exhibits and the museums, walking, collection pictures of the bathrooms she took at the Cafés and the Salons, watching interesting Advertisements uploaded on YouTube and the list goes on and on.
"I’m really into books of Kotaro Isaka and Keigo Higashino now. I really enjoy spending my time reading those books at the Café which is my getaway place. I also like to go on day trips alone when I’m down’"
Her favorite soothing items are Candle JUNE’s candles, picture books and of course Ice creams and Chocolates!
"When I’m out of sweets, I go out to buy some snacks even at night. I’m practically addicted to them (lol). "

A stint as a Salon model helped her find her new self. Now she is starting to be attracted by the Mod style….
Kaori’s bob hair looks terrific and she’s been working as a Salon model for a year.
This experience helped her understand what kind of make ups and clothes suit her and find her find her new self.
Her favorite style is "Dolly Adult Feminine"
She used to be influenced by magazines and prefer "non-no" kei fashion as a junior high student but she was inspired by Harajuku to switch to Urahara-kei.
Then her desire to become more adult-like grew strong and there was a period when she was always wearing her mother’s clothes.
But after enrolling in a fashion school, she’s settled into her current style.
"Now I admire people who wear the mod style stylishly. I think it’s a bit premature for me. But I hope I can start wearing the mod style soon."

The brand that she’s checking out is "note et silence" which has a natural feel to it. But, she often falls in love at first sight with European Vintages from the 60s~70s and frequently visits Vintages shops in Nakameguro.
She says "I’ve got a lot to learn when it comes to my fashion sense but I’m proud of the fact that I really cherish things for a long time!". Surprisingly, she still wears her clothes, caps and bags from her elementary school days.
She takes good care of one piece and summer knit her grandmother gave her and has been wearing a long coat that her mother use to wear for years.
"What I like about Vintage clothes is their unique shapes. When the clothes get torn and frayed, I sew my own clothes."
She says "When I have a daughter someday, I want her to wear the long coat that my mother gave me"
